Eight is Great!

Happy 8th Birthday Peanut! I Love You!

I love this girl more then words can say. She is so smart, kind, beautiful, funny, happy, loving, loyal, responsible, the list could go on and on. This little girl brings so much joy and love to all of those around her. I am so thankful to be her mom and for each day of the last eight years with her!

Good Friends!

Ok, I am so behind on blogging. I should have posted this a month ago. We went to the Heber Valley camp with a group of friends from our old neighborhood. It was so great to spend time with everyone again. I really can't believe how much eveyones families are growing up. We had such a great time, despite the bears!

Kindergarten Kid

I can't believe it, he is in kindergarten! He has been my little buddy for so long I can't even imagine my day without him. Last night was like Christmas eve, he could not go to sleep. He had so many questions, but he mostly just wanted to visit about the day to come.

This hansom boy has always been my snuggle bug, he loves to cuddle. I hope he doesn't figure out for a long time that he is to cool to cuddle with mom. His baby sister is going to miss him dearly while he is at school, but I will miss him more.

Big Sis was there to lead the way

He already loves his teacher

Have fun at school big boy, mom loves you!

Summer is Over

It is sad to say, but summer is over. As our oldest headed off to the 2nd grade she was not very excited. I was surprised, but she had no interest in going back to school. She is such a good girl with a kind heart, I am really going to miss having my big helper at home with me.

Deseret News Marathon

On the 24th of July Dusty ran the Deseret News Marathon for the 5th time. He did great! After we went to a little family barbaque and then watched fireworks at Butlerville Days. It was a fun and relaxing day, for me at least, I didn't run a marathon.

I give up, could someone tell my again why we bother to buy toys?

The bottom of this closet is her favorite spot in the house, I have totally given up on trying to keep it organized!

Tagged!

Well, this is the first time I have done this. Thanks Jen:) Here are my 3 joys, 3 fears, 3 obsessions and 3 surprising facts.

3 Joys

1. The first one is easy, my family. Nothing makes me happier then watching my children when they are happy, excited or having lots of fun! It makes me so happy it actually hurts. Best of all is spending time with my amazing husband, he makes me a better person in every way.
2. Summer. I love everything about summer, BBQ, swimming, fireworks, the cabin, and fun with great friends!
3. Surprises, I love surprises. That is all there is to it, I love to be surprised.
3 Fears
1. Something tragic happening to someone in my family. I can't even go there in my mind.
2. My children growing up, and moving away. I know it will happen, but it hurts to think about.
3. Expired food in the fridge, yep!
3 Obsessions
1. The series of books I am reading "Children of the Promise". It is a series of 5 books and I am on #4. I am actually trying not to read very fast because I don't want to finish. I feel like I know all of the characters. I love these books!
2. Photography, its on my mind all of the time.
3. Pizza, I love it! Chocolate is a real close second if not tied for first.
3 Surprising Facts
1. I love to shop. I never do it anymore, to many kids so little time.
2. I am 4 years older than my husband, yes he has a lot of fun with that.
3. I grew up in Jackson Hole Wyoming.
OK, now I tag Cami and Lorraine

Draper Days

Well this will look a lot like the last post, because July is full of the same kind of activities. I have to say July is my favorite month of the year! I love all of the red, white and blue, and tons of summer fun! Our family always has a great time at Draper Days. This year we started with a parade, then a little softball and a whole lot of fun over at the park.
